| 内容記述 | 本研究は，台湾のエンジェル投資機関の先駆者的存在である「台安傑天使投資（Taipei Angels Investment：TA）」 の事例分析を行い，それを通して同業界の発展状況を明らかにすることを課題とする。TAは2012年設立で，これまでに台湾のスタートアップ関連業界に対して，以下の3つの形で多大な貢献をしてきた。①多数のスタートアップへの投資・支援，②同業者とは豊富な実務経験と運営ノウハウをオープンな姿勢でシェア，③スタートアップ育成機関・関連政策に対する投資家やメンター・専門家としての協力。TAに続き，2010年代後半以降，多数のエンジェル投資機関が登場し，メンバー数や投資先企業数ではTAを上回るものも出てきている。これらの新興の機関の一部は，短期間でメンバーを急増させ，新入りのエンジェル投資家のために様々な学習と交流の機会を提供している。これら機関の活動の活発化を背景に，2010 年代末以降，台湾のエンジェル投資が急増している。台湾のエンジェル投資業は，ここ数年で勃興期入ったと考えられる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to analyze the case of “Taipei Angels Investment (TA)”, a pioneer of angel investment institutions in Taiwan, and to clarify the development status of the angel investment industry in Taiwan through this analysis. TA was established in 2012 and has made significant contributions to Taiwan's startup-related industry in the following three ways: (1) Investing in and supporting a large number of startups, (2) Sharing abundant practical experience and operational know-how with its peer companies in an open manner, and (3) Cooperation as an investor, mentor, and expert to startupsupporting institutions and related policies. Following TA, many angel investment institutions have emerged since the latter half of the 2010s, and some have surpassed TA in terms of the number of members and portfolio companies. Some of these institutions have increased aggressively their members in a short period of time, providing a variety of learning and networking opportunities for new angel investors. Based on the increasing activity of these institutions, Taiwan's angel investment has increased rapidly since the end of the 2010s. Taiwan's angel investment industry seems to have entered the growth period in the past several years. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 本研究は，台湾の代表的スタートアップ・アクセラレーターの1つである「陽明交通大学産業アクセラレーター（IAPS）」の事例研究である。IAPSは，2013年に交通大学傘下に設立された台湾初の大学付属アクセラレーターでもある（交通大学は，2021年2月に陽明交通大学となった）。IAPSはこれまでずっと政府諸部門からのスタートアップ支援計画の実施請負を主な活動内容とし，数多くのアクセラレーター・関連プログラムを手掛けてきた。その過程で，創業者・スタートアップのコミュニティーに加え，政府・公的機関，企業・業界団体，専門家・メンター，海外スタートアップ関連団体との広範な連携・パートナーシップが構築された。さらに，こうした経験・リソースの蓄積を土台に，2020-21年頃から，独自の取り組み（TX Venture Fund，IAPS Scale-Up Premium Program）を始め，政府計画実施請負中心のビジネスモデルの転換を試みている。本研究は，IAPSの詳細な事例分析を通じて，アクセラレーターのビジネスモデルの構築と変容，それを支える組織・人員とパートナーシップの開拓について深い理解を得ることを目的としている。 IAPSは大学付属でありながら，近年まで大学行政体系に正式に組み込まれることなく，その分，比較的自由な立場で，政府機関や産業界，海外諸団体との広範なパートナーシップを築いてきた。しかし，2024年に，陽明交通大学が産学連携と創業の促進のために新設した「産学共創處（Office of Industry-Academia Cocreation：OIAC）」に組み入れられた。本稿では，豊富な産業リソースを有するIAPSが，陽明交通大学による「企業家大学（Entrepreneurial University）」推進に多大な貢献をなし得ることをも明らかにしている。 |

| 内容記述 | This paper shows a case study of “Center of Industry Accelerator and Patent Strategy (IAPS), National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU),” which is one of the leading startup accelerators in Taiwan. IAPS was established in 2013 as the first university-affiliated accelerator in Taiwan under the umbrella of National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) (NCTU became NYCU in February 2021). IAPS has been engaged in a lot of accelerator and related programs mainly by undertaking the implementation of startup support programs from various government departments. In the process, in addition to the community of founders and startups, extensive collaborations and partnerships have been established with governments, public institutions, corporations and industry associations, experts and mentors, and overseas startup-related organizations. Furthermore, based on the accumulation of such experience and resources, IAPS has been trying to change its business model as a subcontracting-type accelerator and starting its own initiatives (TX Venture Fund, IAPS Scale-Up Premium Program) since 2020-21. The purpose of this study is to gain a deep understanding of the construction and transformation of an accelerator’s business model, as well as the development of organizations, personnel, and partnerships that support it through a detailed case analysis of IAPS. Although IAPS is affiliated with the university, it has not been formally incorporated into the university administrative system until recently, and has established extensive partnerships with government agencies, industry, and overseas organizations in a relatively free position. However, in 2024, IAPS was incorporated into “Office of Industry-Academia Cocreation: OIAC”, which NYCU established to promote industry-academia collaboration and entrepreneurship. This paper also clarifies that IAPS, which has abundant industrial resources, can make a significant contribution to the promotion of “Entrepreneurial University” by NYCU. |
